LYNNFIELD — Charlotte Woods has been named general manager of MarketStreet Lynnfield. A Wakefield native, Woods has been a prominent player within the MarketStreet team since its debut in 2013. She joined the company as property coordinator and advanced to marketing coordinator in 2016 and marketing manager in 2017. Woods oversaw the creation and execution of more than 100 events and activations, including the seasonal MarketStreet Rink, which has returned for its seventh season.
Most recently, Woods oversaw the partnership between MarketStreet and Northeast Arc for its 5K for Inclusion event, which was held at the open air shopping and dining complex. The event raised more than $35,000 for the organization, which helps to support community members with disabilities.
Woods also recently oversaw the creation of the property’s ongoing “You CAN Sit With Us” campaign, which reminds shoppers of the power of kindness and encourages inclusion.
“MarketStreet Lynnfield is more than a shopping destination, it’s a gathering place and a hub for families to make memories. As a mother of two, I’m absolutely thrilled to be leading a destination that means so much to me and my family,” Woods said.
In her new role, Woods will oversee the property’s 80-plus shops and restaurants.
