Build-a-Bed

Build A Bed is returning to MarketStreet, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Since 2022, members of the Lynnfield Rotary have been coming together to build beds for children across Massachusetts who would otherwise go without one. What began as a modest effort of 10 beds has grown steadily each year and in 2026, the project will surpass an important milestone: more than 100 beds built and delivered to local families.

Each bed costs $350 and includes a brand-new mattress. Once completed, every bed is delivered directly to a child’s home, ensuring both dignity and comfort. All materials, tools, and step-by-step guidance are provided on-site, and volunteers work in small teams of four, making the experience collaborative, hands-on, and deeply meaningful.

Children are welcome to participate if accompanied by an adult, offering families an opportunity to serve side by side and see the direct impact of their time and effort.

All funds contributed go entirely toward materials and mattresses, ensuring each bed is built and delivered to a child who needs one.

Participation is limited to 30 beds for this event, and only nine remain available. Reservations are confirmed with full payment, and we encourage securing your spot soon to be part of this milestone moment for our community.

How You Can Participate?

• Sponsor one or more beds and join us at the event to build the frame
• Prefer not to build? Our volunteers can build a bed in your name
• Beds are allocated in the order payments are received, so early registration is encouraged
• Donations are welcome to offset costs of the project
